A lovely evening with friends at Ruth's 30th birthday meal at Corinthian in Glasgow last night. Some classic snaps were taken shall we say. See them all on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/cjc/sets/72157622463202139/

Now that Peigi is back down in Glasgow for Uni and Nma had vouchers for The Corinthian we took the opportunity for dinner last night. The Corinthian has a pretty jaw dropping classical interior and the food was good and restaurant was quiet. Parking in the city was an absolute nightmare for some reason, possibly due to some streets being closed in the Merchant City due to a outdoor market set up on Candleriggs.

Lovely dinner in Glasgow's West End tonight with Mairianne who's down for the weekend and Flora & Nma. Seoras was unwell so we took plently of food pics for him to drool at afterwards (I know, we are evil). The Bothy was very pleasant, a contemporary Scottish menu with a comfortably uncramped eclectic interior tucked away in Ruthven Lane off Byres Road. Chosen meals consisted of Guinea Fowl, Chicken and Pistachio Terrine, Herring Baked in Oatmeal, Slow Roasted Crispy Pork Belly, Oven Roasted Spring Chicken, Pea & Ham Risotto and a quite unique Irn Bru Sorbet! Thanks for the treat Flora, definitely a place to revisit.
